Ansu Fati left out of squad once again

Hansi Flick has decided to leave Ansu Fati out of the Squad vs Sevilla. The youngster has not been part of the playing squad for a lot of matches recently. Barcelona had asked Ansu if he would be interested in a move and his agent has received offers from the Turkish League including Besiktas and Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce but the no.10 of Barca remains committed at succeeding in Barcelona.

Barcelona’s patience with Ansu Fati

FC Barcelona have waited far too long for Ansu Fati to recover back to his best after his injuries, but so far, he has not been impressive. A loan spell at Brighton was a ray of hope for him to find his form again but the youngster returned home relatively unchanged. In training, Ansu has not been able to stand out in the eyes of Hansi Flick who has promised him he will get playing minutes when he deserves them.

Should Barca let go of Ansu

In my opinion, Barcelona should let Ansu Fati stay but on one condition: his salary has to be reduced. Right now Ansu is the 3rd highest earner in the squad ahead of the lies of Raphinha, Pedri and Lamine Yamal. Hansi Flick has no problems with the youngster staying either. Ansu Fati is a La Masia product and after suffering the serious injuries that he has, he should be allowed to take his time to find his form like Raphinha did. A bit more patience might get us a world-class player if Ansu gets back to the quality that we know he can produce.
