Ansu Fati: Time Up at Barcelona?

Ansu Fati is facing difficulty finding minutes on the field for Barcelona, Flick has left the Spaniard out of the playing squad for 3 consecutive games.

Fati’s situation at the club?

Hansi Flick addressed the issue regarding Ansu Fati’s absence in the last three games. When the question about Fati was asked, Flick stated:

“The team is in good shape, we have fewer injured players and I have to decide based on what I see in training,” he told reporters.

“I already said yesterday that he started well, in pre-season, he got injured, then again. And he has to train and show that he is improving. That is the situation “ Credits: Barca Blaugranes.

Flick wants Ansu to improve further to get his spot back on the bench. Despite Fati rejecting to take off for the new year break and training on the days, Flick is still looking for other improvements from the player. His future at the club is still uncertain.

Rashford situation

Many reports indicate that Barcelona is looking to offload Ansu this January and are aiming to make a move for Marcus Rashford. Reports from Italy suggest that Marcus Rashford has an offer on the table from AC Milan for a loan deal. But since Barcelona laid their eyes on him the player prioritizes Barcelona’s move over others.

After returning to the 1:1 FFP ruling Barcelona is looking for this move to be complete, but in order to further process the negotiations Barcelona is looking to offload one player.

Rashford is capable of solving many LW issues Barcelona has. Rashford is a player who could come off the bench can make a significant change to the game. Fati on the other hand is struggling to deliver consistently and impress Hansi Flick.

What’s Next for Fati?

In my opinion, Ansu still has his spark, he just needs a little more time to regain his confidence and form. When he gets back to his best and regains his momentum, there will be no stopping for a player of his quality. Regarding his future, it all depends on Flick now.
