Not only in La Liga, Barcelona dismantled their arch-rivals in the Spanish Super Cup as well. Barcelona had a poor run of form in recent La Liga games, which made Real Madrid fans a little too excited and they thought they would have the upper hand in the final and will win their first silverware of the season against Barcelona. But Barcelona had other plans, Barcelona completely dominated the game and demolished Real Madrid to win the Super Cup final with the score ending 5-2. The Catalan giants made Madrid’s white shirts look more like training bibs.
