Barcelona win Copa Del Rey in a historic el Clasico Remontada

Barcelona beat Real Madrid AGAIN. This time, in the Copa del Rey final, in a dramatic encounter that went to extra time, Jules Kounde won it all in the 116th minute, ending the game 3-2. Hansi Flick and his men have picked up their first trophy of the treble that Barca is competing for.

Best midfielder in the world. Best player in the world

It all started with Barcelona’s regista Pedri Gonzalez when he received a pass and, from his unbelievable vision, launched a long ball for Lamine Yamal. The 17-year-old who had dyed his hair like his idol Neymar played like him, too. He carried the ball into the box while Madrid’s defense kept backing up. Lamine repaid Pedri’s visionary pass with a visionary pass to him outside the box, from where Pedri smashed it in the top left corner to give Barca the lead. Another moment of Pedri’s brilliance, which ensured me he is the deserving winner of the Ballon d’Or.

Real Madrid fires back with Mbappe

The rest of the half went quite, with a few chances for both teams and a possible penalty for a foul on Cubarsi, which was not called. In the 2nd half, Los Blancos started sharing more of possession and looked dangerous in attack. Although Barca matched the intensity, Madrid was still able to win a free-kick at Barca’s edge of the box. Kylian Mbappe, who came on at halftime, slid it into the bottom corner to bring Real Madrid level.

2-2! Remontada needed!

Barca fans were confident about this match and didn’t think they would concede many goals, but that’s what happened. In the 77th, Real Madrid got a corner, which once Barca talent Arda Guler took, and Tchouameni headed into the goal. Everyone thought Real Madrid were finally getting their revenge, but Hansi Flick and his men have made comebacks against the tightest of defense like Atletico Madrid.

Ferran the shark strikes again!

In the 84th minute, Yamal got the ball and played a long ball for Ferran Torres, who outpaced Rudiger and went around Courtois to score Barca’s equaliser. Once again, Hansi Flick and his men showed the world they will fight till the end and always believe. Fans in the stadium went Euphoric, but there was still work to do as the game went to extra time.

Kounde strikes to win it all

Jules Kounde is one of the most unlikely goal scorers for Barca, but he is a world-class player in his position. Today, however, when the lights were bright and it mattered the most, Kounde showed up. It all started with Modric’s wrong pass, which didn’t have enough weight. Kounde noticed this and chased after it, driving the ball forward to the end of the box, where he scored a Golazo to win it all for Barca.

Late in the game, things get heated as 3 Real Madrid players get sent off and Rudiger loses his cool. Barca fought their heart out and held on to win the first Copa del Rey since the departure of their Legend, Leo Messi. The interview of Lamine Yamal, who provided 2 assists on the night, sums up this game as he stated: “Even if we concede one goal, no problem. Even if we concede two goals, it’s still no problem. This year, they simply CANNOT beat us. We’ve proven that. I’m really happy. Visca Barça!”
