Fermin Lopez was sent off after a dangerous tackle in the league game vs sevilla after scoring a goal. In an interview he discussed how it effected his relationship with Hansi Flick.
Fermín: “How’s Flick like? He’s very close, he always has a good relationship with us. He’s demanding because he’s the coach and being at Barca you have to be very demanding. But he is a person who always tries to help us all.”
When asked if there is a a language barrier between him and his manager and how hard it is to be disciplined according to Hansi Flick’s level the youngster had interesting answers.
Fermín: “Flick communicates in English, and sometimes mixed with Spanish words. How many alarms I set so that I don’t come in late to training? Just one.”
Fermin Lopez has been a player with instant impact after coming on from the bench this season under Hansi Flick and was asked a question in this regard.
Fermín López: “Do I see myself as Hansi Flick’s ideal super-sub? I don’t care about labels. What matters to me is that the coach trusts me, either as a starter or a substitute, and considers me when it’s time to come in and help. That’s what’s important.”
