In an interview with Mundo Deportivo Lamine Yamal revealed the situation about his contract renewal, La Liga hopes and the player he would like Barca to sign.
A move to Real Madrid?
Barca’s starboy was asked an unsettling question of whether he would ever consider joining arch-rivals Real Madrid in his career and the youngster had a bold answer.
“I will not go to Real Madrid in any case during my career, impossible!”, says Lamine “I’m a Barça fan, I love this club… Real Madrid, no way at all. No chance, impossible to make it happen in life”
Contract renewal updates
The youngster was asked about the situation of his contract renewal and he gave a convincing answer.
Lamine Yamal: “Renewal? I think no one doubts how big of a culĂ©r I am, how much I want at this club. If both parties want something to happen, it will happen. But I think no one can doubt how I feel about this club. I owe Barcelona everything. Everything is perfect here in and I’m very happy. The reception, the affection the fans and teammates have given me”.
When asked about his scoring form this season Lamine said he isn’t in a hurry to put up crazy numbers.
Lamine Yamal: “My goals will come. If I score in La Liga, they will say that I don’t score in Copa Del Rey. As long as the team is winning, I’m happy – but everything will come”.
A player Lamine wants to play with
Lamine Yamal was asked to name one player he thought would be a good teammate for him next season.
Lamine: “You would expect me to say Neymar, but I will say Musiala… unfortunately he has a contract.”
Surely a Yamal and Musiala would be lethal as they are both elite dribblers and expert in getting past defenses.
