Marc Casado on being compared to Busquets

In an interview, Marc Casado talked about how his first team experiences and life under the new coach Hansi Flick. The German is known to be a strict leader with a great emphasis on discipline for his team.

Marc CasadĂł: “When I saw the video of Flick scolding the German national team, I shat myself. It left an impression on me. We’ve had moments of tension this season. Sometimes the coach has gotten angry with us.”

However, he had words of affirmation for the manager too

Marc CasadĂł: “Flick is a great coach who manages the locker room very well. There have been more good moments than bad ones.”

Marc Casado was the captain of Barca Atletic before he was called up by Xavi Hernandez to the first team. He made sure to mention he is a leader and wants to give everything for Barca for a long time.

Marc CasadĂł: “I have a leader’s spirit, and I hope to help Barça for many years. We’ll give everything to win matches, and titles, and bring joy to the fans.”

The youngster has reinvented the CDM role at Barcelona by giving them the much-needed control and play-making deep in the midfield and fans come up with comparisons to Barca legend Sergio Busquets.

Marc CasadĂł: “Being compared to legends like Sergio Busquets is incredible. Four years ago, I watched them on TV, and I never thought people would compare me to them one day.”

Casado was not too happy about rating in EAFC as he thought he deserved way more.

Marc CasadĂł: “My card in FIFA is quite bad, but that’s normal. At the start of the season, not many people knew my level, or I hadn’t shown it yet. Hopefully, the card will be better next year.
