Pablo Torre joined FC Barcelona in July of 2022 from Racing Club. The Spanish midfielder since then has shown signs of brilliance and promise. A lack of game time at Barcelona made him accept to go on a loan spell at Girona in July of 2023. He returned to Barcelona in June of last year. Since then he has managed to bag four goals and six assists in 10 games under Hansi Flick.

The 21 year old midfielder finally got a spot in the starting line up with Dani Olmo unable to participate in the opening game of Copa Del Rey for Barca. Up against Barbastro of the Segunda division the young maestro once again proved he is one of the best young talents in the world.

The Barca youngster is usually an attacking midfielder but against Barbastro he efficiently switched play like a deep lying midfielder. 3/3 long balls with a 100% success rate to find his teammates.
Covering the right flank
With the absence of Raphinha and Lamine, he took responsibility to attack the right flank. He whipped in successful crosses like a seasoned winger 5 out of 7 attempts.
