Raphinha has been absolutely brilliant this season for Barcelona under Hansi Flick. The Brazilian has become a global star as he is having a Ballon d’Or contending season which has sparked interested from Saudi cpubs once again. According to reports by Miguel Rico from Relevo Deportes with Raphinha’s brilliance this season, Saudi interest in him has returned stronger and with bigger numbers than before.
Raphinha previously rejected an offer of âŹ80M for Barcelona and a salary of âŹ20M for himself. Despite his high release clause, Raphinha is a temptation for PIF (Saudi Arabia) and Deco is well aware of this and is seeking to ensure his stay and Flick as well wants him to stay at Barcelona.
Why Barca should be cautious
Although Raphinha’s stance remains quite clear on a move away from the Catalan club and he has expressed his desire to remain at Barcelona for years to come and win trophies. The club would not like a similar operation to Unai Hernandez’s move away from Barca and to Al Ittihad where they lost valuable talent to Saudi checks.
