Exciting times for Barca fans as the Catalans dominate in EA FC 25’s La Liga team of the season. The boys in red and blue have shown pure domination. This is because seven Barca stars have been selected in this year’s team of the season. It’s a huge achievement, and Flick’s boys have cemented Barca’s present brilliance and future promise through this TOTS squad.
Barca’s TOTS Takeover: Are the Blaugrana La Liga’s Future?
EA Sports has included seven Barcelona players in La Liga’s Team of the season, and that’s a big number. The only missed out Barca nominee is Alex Balde, who, in my opinion, is very unlucky to get ruled out. Maybe the untimely injury ruined his season. Still, nothing can be taken away from Barca’s silent force: Balde. The other seven players are Yamal, Lewandowski, Raphinha, Cubarsi, Kounde, Inigo Martinez, and Pedri Gonzalez.
It’s a very nice mix of youth and experience. Veterans like Inigo and Robert and youngsters like Cubarsi and Yamal are featured on the list. It reflects a squad built for dominance, and what is its message? It announces that La Liga’s power balance is shifting back to Catalonia, one rating at a time.
EA’s Nod to Barcelona’s Players’ Reinvention
A 96-rated CDM Pedri and a 97-rated RW Lamine Yamal. EA has acknowledged Barcelona’s young stars as both players were Barca’s stars this season. Interestingly, Pedri was given a CDM card. While Pedri’s creativity is still his trademark, EA’s positional choice hints at a very crucial aspect.
The famous gaming brand has chosen Pedri as CDM. It has recognised his growing defensive maturity: tracking back, breaking lines and dictating tempo. It could be a gaming liberty, but it can also be foresight. I cannot wait to play with him in EA Sports 26. He is already too good in the 25 version. For Yamal, words aren’t enough. His card is the closest we can get to the version we saw of him this season.
Overall La Liga TOTS Review
While the Barca players make up a big chunk of the squad, the La Liga team looks strong overall. La Liga has proven itself to be the best league in the world this season. It had the best title race with not two but three teams competing for the top spot. European glory will be taken by Serie A or Ligue 1 as their teams will compete in the UCL finale. Still, La Liga deserves to be no. 1 this year.
Kylian Mbappe, Bellingham, Griezmann, Valverde, Aspas, and all these Barca players on one team are pure terrors on paper. If only Javier Tebas fixes his lousy presidency, financial fair-play rules, and goal-line technology issues, La Liga would give the Premier League a run for its money.
