Why Barcelona Fans Should Remain Humble Before The End?

There is no doubt Barcelona are playing on their peak compared to all other European team. We are only few games away from lifting our third treble of history. Our arch-rivals Madrid are not in great form, they are 2nd in La Liga, out of the UEFA Champions League, and lost the Super Cup against us. But here is why we should still remain humble.

Many Barcelona fans are saying that Barcelona will completely dominate Real Madrid in any game each other face. There are 2 upcoming clashes against Real Madrid, 26th April in the Copa del Rey Final and 11th May in La Liga. The amazing part is that both clashes are title decider and could shape Hansi Flick’s first season with FC Barcelona. With both matches being nearly around the corner, FC Barcelona fans are confident that Barcelona will get the better of Real Madrid with a comfortable lead.

There is no doubt we are the better team and we have already got the better out of them previously this season. Not once but twice. First we claimed the 4-0 victory in La Liga at the Santiago Bernabeu. The second victory was in the Spanish Super Copa de Espanea Final held in Saudi Arabia, which the Catalans won with a commanding 5-2 victory.

These Barcelona performances were great and there is no doubt Barcelona are in great form this year, especially in La Liga they have maintained an unbeaten record in 2025.

The thing we Barcelona fans love the most is the thing that scares us all at the same time. Real Madrid is playing probably the worst football ever in their last 5 years, but they still have a chance to take away our smile. We are better than them but still losing our golden trophies would be quite unfair. Look at all the hard work we have done to achieve this form, this was the rebuild time under Flick, but we had further success. The idea of Madrid ruining this seems quite scary. Being in this poor form but still managing to chase all the trophies would be a shame for us.

The main point is, this is El Classico the biggest rivalry in world football. More than just being two clubs they have different philosophies, ideas, and legacies that go far beyond the football field. From political work to playing style, from Galacticos to La Masia, these sides have a fascinating difference in between. Being in form doesn’t matter in these derby games, both teams step onto the field with a different winning mentality. The mentality the players instill in these game is a fresh mentality, leaving all the pros and cons of the season behind. Keeping this in mind, Barcelona fans should stay humble and focus on their team instead of demeaning Real Madrid for their poor season. They just got knocked out by Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League, this doesn’t mean they wouldn’t fight for trophy in the Copa del Rey.
