As Barcelona fans we all want our Legend to come back to the club and complete his legacy, but we hear this rumour daily now. I think Messi has moved on from Barcelona and is at a new chapter in his life, his deep connection to Barcelona is quite evident but he isn’t interested in returning to the high-intensity football with pressure. I think Messi is at the last stages of his career and is enjoying his time in Miami.
Just a few months ago, there were rumours of Messi coming to Barcelona on loan just like some legends opted for it in the MLS off-season, but the rumours didn’t get any strong attention from any party. After Messi’s PSG saga, there were rumours of Laporta meeting Messi’s father and convincing him to return but that was also some baseless news.
